About me

I'm a Palace fan brought up 10 minutes from the ground although I now live in slightly leafier South West London.   I've watched approximately 1000 competitive matches (not all involving Palace).  I've visited 67  current league grounds, 20 plus non-league grounds  and many others  replaced by modern stadia.  I'm always amused and entertained by the world of football, but like others often irritated by some of the goings on.  I'm not super partisan so whilst Palace  feature more than they might, I hope you will not detect any great bias.  I like to approach the beautiful game with a mixture of cynicism, fascination and a sense of humour.  I hope you enjoy my blog.
